User Involvement, Procurement Practices and Implementation of Building Construction Projects in the Kenyan Judiciary

Kenyan population increased from 20 million in 1985 to approximately 47.6 2019 and with it, demand for justice also yet the growth did not come improved Judiciary infrastructure. This attracted World Bank through Judicial Performance Improvement Project (JPIP) fund 30 major court construction projects while Government funded another 33 such 2013. However, by January, 2020,only 10 had been completed successfully handed over all 63 being out of planned time variation on original scope works.This gave rise this study that aimed evaluate influence user involvement implementation building judiciary as moderated procurement practices. The was based general systems theory. Pragmatism paradigm convergent parallel mixed research design adopted proportionate stratified sampling used select a 234 consisting staff, staff consultants .Primary data collected use questionnaires, interviews document content analysis. Reliability tested using Cronbach’s Alpha analyzed descriptive statistics which included measures central tendency. Qualitative subjected thematic analysis triangulate results derived quantitative data.
